Itinerary

Day 1Paro Arrival

Fly to Paro, Transfer to Thimphu (2300m – 3 hours). Arrival at Paro at different times & since this is the first day of the tour, there are no other activities planned except for arrival at Paro and transfer to your hotel. The tiny town of Paro is bursting with color and tradition overlooked by a dramatic dzong. Here you see one of Bhutan’s most impressive dzongs known for its classic Bhutanese architecture. overnight at hotel.

Day 2Thimpu

Thimphu lies in a wooded valley, sprawling up a hillside on the west bank of the Thimphu River. Today you will also visit The Tango Goemba, which is the highest center of Buddhist learning in the country. Here you can see a curved building, the white walls had wooden windows sticking out of the walls. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3Thimpu Sightseeing

This day visits the Tag Dzong and watches tower for Rinpung Dzong. You can see the Trashichho dzong houses the secretariat, throne room, and offices of the King of Bhutan. overnight at hotel.

Day 4Punakha

After breakfast leave for Punakha, the valley, which lies amidst snow-capped mountain peaks, served as the capital of Bhutan until 1955. Visit Punakha Dzong built at the confluence of the Po and Mo Chu Rivers in the 17th Century by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel served as the capital of Bhutan until 1955. After that move to see the beautiful place of Eastern Himalayas where you enjoy kayaking or rafting in the clean and clear waters of Pho Chhu River. You experience Kayaking and Rafting in class-3 rapids. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 5Gangtey

After breakfast, to observe the beauty of place leave your hotel and move to see the beautiful place, where you will see the biggest Nyingmapa monastery in Bhutan. This place gives you amazing surroundings. At this tour, you will see the Monastery which is surrounded by a large village of 140 Gomchens families. Here you also visit and perched on a small hill that rises from the valley floor. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6Trongsa

Today after breakfast, you will move to see the Chendebji Chorten, a large white structure built in the style of Swami Nath in Kathmandu. Here you will see Monk dormitories and study rooms line the path to the main temple. You can also enjoy quick buffet lunch at restaurant and souvenir shop. Overnight at Hotel

Day 7Trongsa - Paro

After breakfast leave for Paro. Here you go for Paro Sightseeing – visit the ruined fortress of Drugyel Dzong which still attracts visitors due to the strategic location of the fort. You also Visit at Taktsang Monastery which has admirable surroundings. Here you will see charming chortens and streams along the way as the Monastery at the stop grows closer to you.You will enjoy sticking onto a rock, hanging above a gorgeous forest of blue pine and rhododendrons, this grand-inspiring monastery. Day 8Departure

 

Today at morning you will be transferred to the airport. Fly back to home.
