The most important thing while travelling in a foreign city/state is the mode of transport and your driver. Ours was not at all good. when u plan to make a trip make sure you get a good driver who is available at all times. Ours refused to work after 7pm stating his shift is from 9-7. He never informed us about any good places or restaurants we can have good food. His only job was to drive from one place to another. Reused to pick us up from drop points and we had to walk all the way to parking everywhere.Besides that if you are a vegetarian you are in big problem as you will find next to no restaurant that would provide you good quality veg meal. In Munnar you can eat in Sravana Bhawan and in Kochi Sardarji ka Dhaba is good and in Thekkady Coffee routes provides good food however you will need to wait for . minutes for food to be prepared. Rest everywhere food was not good.

Itinerary

Day 1 Kochi to Munnar

Our representative will receive you on arrival at Kochi Railway station/ Airport and transfer to the resort in Munnar. You will proceed to Echo Point. Enjoy tea plantation and serene silence of the hill station. After that, you will visit the Mattupetty Dam. Overnight at Munnar.

Day 2Munnar

After breakfast proceed to Anamudi Peak. Enjoy the view from “The Elephant Headed Hill”, it is the highest peak in the Sahyadris. After that, you will visit the Cheeyappara Waterfalls. Overnight at Munnar.

Day 3Munnar to Thekkady

After Breakfast at the resort proceed to Thekkady. Check-In the resort and rest for some time. In the evening, you will visit the Kadathanadan Kalari Centre. Seeing a live performance by the performers is magical. Overnight at Thekkady.

Day 4Thekkady

After breakfast, you will visit the Periyar Lake. Enjoy Boat Ride and try bamboo rafting with trekking. In the evening, you will proceed the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary Tour. Observe the famous wildlife and enjoy plenty of activities like boating, trekking, nature trails, wildlife spotting etc. Overnight at Thekkady.

Day 5Thekkady to Kumarakom

After Breakfast at the resort proceed to Kumarakom. Transfer to the resort and Check into the resort. You will proceed to Kumarakom Beach. Enjoy water skiing, wind surfing, parasailing, boating, swimming, and water polo. Next, you will visit the Aruvikkuzhi Waterfall. Overnight at Kumarakom.

Day 6Kumarakom to Alleppey

After Breakfast proceed to Alleppey. Check into the hotel. You will visit the Mannarasala Temple. After that, you will enjoy the beauty of Alappuzha Beach. In the evening, you will visit the Marari Beach. Enjoy the sunset view, fishing, swimming, sea breeze, coconut plants, and local food. Overnight at Alleppey.

Day 7Alleppey to Kochi

After Breakfast, you will proceed to Kochi Railway station/ Airport before scheduled time of your flight or train.
